Affiliate Seller Resource Guide for Sellers

Overview

The Affiliate Seller feature on MARKAPLACE enables sellers to onboard affiliates who help promote and sell products, earning a commission from each sale. This feature benefits affiliates, and sellers by creating a collaborative and profitable partnership. The affiliate earns a percentage of the sales, while MARKAPLACE collects a separate commission on every sale made by the affiliate.

Once activated, affiliates have access to a dedicated panel where they can track orders, commissions, and manage payments.

How to Activate the Affiliate Seller Feature

To activate the Affiliate Seller feature, sellers must log in to their MARKAPLACE seller account.

In the Seller Panel, navigate to the "Affiliate Seller" settings and enable this feature. This will allow individual affiliates to register as sellers.

Affiliates can sign up by visiting the seller registration page and selecting the “Join as Affiliate Seller” option from the dropdown menu.

Affiliate Seller Commissions and Payments

Sellers and affiliates work together to set commission rates for affiliate sales. Here's how it works:

Sellers' Role in Commission Setup

Set Commission Rate: Sellers can define the percentage of commission they are willing to pay affiliates from sales made through their affiliate code.

Affiliate Details: Sellers will include the affiliate code in the Affiliate Details section under My Account. This ensures that every sale linked to the affiliate code is tracked correctly.

Seller Panel Payment Tracking: In the Seller Panel, sellers can manage payments to affiliates, view payment history, and update payment statuses.

Affiliate Payments

When an affiliate generates sales using their referral code:

Affiliate Earns Commission: The affiliate earns a percentage from each sale made using their referral code.

Payment Share: Sellers share the agreed-upon percentage of their earnings with the affiliate.

Admin Commission: MARKAPLACE collects a separate commission on each sale.
